Here is a quick take looking forward to 2023, presenting my arguments on why we may soon arrive at a similar pivot point as we did in 1968. Happy new year!
The 2030/1968 video can also be viewed at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2jTKCFuGFjQ but for some reason YT has it flagged as 'troubling content' so you'll need to click past that screen;;))
My apologies Gerd - my response was after way too brief a scan of your material. I'm so sorry to have mistaken that little slice of content as the voice of someone pimping for Technocracy, when your ideas are in fact antithetical to that effort.
That said, I'll add that your ideas resonate with so many like it by millions around the world anxious to DO something about the emerging dystopia that we all feel, at least subliminally.
In fact there is just ONE problem.....
....resolve this ONE problem, and all our other problems fall like a house of cards!! Each of the myriad resolution proposals put forth these days is arguably fruitless without addressing this single root issue. History bears this out.
The problem itself is no revelation, nor an original idea. The diagnosis is readily accessible and easy to agree with. Yet, the very notion that this problem can be directly addressed, let alone resolved, lies beyond what most of us believe is possible. Herein lies our greatest challenge. Any successful solution that matches our plight in magnitude must surely lie beyond what is currently tangible. To wit:
“There is one human story. Dressed in new clothing and using new tools, we endlessly relive it. If we read philosophy, literature, history, poetry, and theology – we see greed, hedonism, and hubris easily defeat empathy and reason.” – The Last Act of the Human Comedy – Chris Hedges
